Hey everyone! I'm curious about tap/target development. I saw a note that one would follow the Singer guides for developing taps and targets, however, is there any guide that might be geared towards Meltano (like the best way to develop a tap/target to integrate with Meltano)? Thanks all! I have a feeling that it is as simple as just following the Singer docs, but thought I'd ask!

Right now for taps the SDK is the way to go! It's new so beware but it's pretty great. #sdk and https://gitlab.com/meltano/singer-sdk

release of the SDK. A few brave and patient souls like @flat-bear-81546 are helping us prove out the framework through their own developments. Just want to give the warning (as posted there in the repo) that some things will still change between now and our first official release. That said, if you can tolerate a few bumps along the way, we'd be more than happy to have you in our early pilots group. As Derek mentioned, the #sdk channel is a great place to see what others are working on and to keep in the loop as we move towards our first official release!
