Note that Gitpod has wrestled with trying to navigate all of the various python config managers (pyenv, venv, poetry, etc etc) in their core workspace docker image, which has changed repeatedly (with many breaking changes) over the past few months.. so the figuring out the best setup for Meltano is still a WIP.
