fields: According to the docs, to enable these fields, the tap must include the

add_record_metadata

config item. Just wondered why a tap wouldn't include this option? Sure I'm missing something here, but why can't this be enabled as a setting for all taps by the SDK? If a tap doesn't support it via config, I'm left to fork my own version to implement it. https://sdk.meltano.com/en/latest/implementation/record_metadata.html TARGETS! Not taps.
