Hard to communicate how excited I am to see this DuckDB SQL Tools Client launch today for VS Code... Imagine MDS-in-a-box with Meltano and DuckDB - and now even the visual SQL database explorer runs in the IDE!? And the whole shebang can run in a browser tab via Codespaces. 🚀 https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=RandomFractalsInc.duckdb-sql-tools

Tangent alert: From the above readme, TIL this "pure" MIT licensed version of VS Code exists, with telemetry disabled. https://vscodium.com/ Interesting! thinkspin

Hi, AJ & Jacob! yes, VSCodium is great and SQL Tools extension and db drivers seem to work in that trimmed down VSCode core-based IDE just fine without telemetry overhead. Feel free to share your feedback in my repo discussions and I would appreciate some positive reviews in VSCode marketplace. This preview release was a bit rushed. I just wanted to get it out. I plan to refine ext. docs more, cover more duckdb usage scenarios, including S3, and maybe even add duckdb-wasm version and some duckdb sql code snippets next month for the pro features. P.S.: @aaronsteers thanks for the pot of ☕ you got me! ... https://github.com/RandomFractals/duckdb-sql-tools/discussions
