Do folks have opinions / thoughts / recommendations on a good office chair? I https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-office-chair/ but was looking for some other opinions too!

100% try some if you can, not sure theres a one size fits all. Having said that, i’ve got a Herman Miller Embody i love.

I have an Aeron chair and the stool and I pretty much won't go back to anything else

my wife tried a bunch and ended up getting a steelcase leap but im really meh on it.

I like the idea of gaming chairs or nice leather ones but I also enjoy not sweating at my desk haha

This one Amazon review I read said the Leap was nice hah

I was just in the market recently and ended up buying a used Steelcase leap. I got it for $325. I feel like it comes down to preference but I feel like a used steelcase is probably the best value.

Another 👍 for the Aeron. They also have them at Design Within Reach and Healthy Back stores, if one of those is closer to you.
