👋 Hey fellow Meltano’ers (is there a better word @douwe_maan? Maybe we’re all Melts? 🤔 ) . I come from the Apache Superset project, where we’re building an open-source BI + visualization platform. I wanted to share 2 pieces of exciting news: • Superset recently graduated to become a top-level project at the Apache Software Foundation (https://blogs.apache.org/foundation/entry/the-apache-software-foundation-announces70) • The Superset community released v1.0! https://preset.io/blog/2021-01-18-superset-1-0/ Meltano and Superset have a lot in common. One important feature is that both projects aren’t that opinionated about how / where you store your data. Meltano will happily move data between many different data places and Superset wants to query any SQL compatible data store (or data engine, data warehouse, etc).
