Tap-pendo is not giving response for Visitors. It is giving below error:
Copy code
INFO POST <https://app.pendo.io/api/v1/aggregation> None
ERROR Giving up request(...) after 1 tries (requests.exceptions.HTTPError: 422 Client Error: Unprocessable Entity for url: <https://app.pendo.io/api/v1/aggregation>)
INFO METRIC: {"type": "counter", "metric": "record_count", "value": 0, "tags": {"endpoint": "visitors"}}
CRITICAL 422 Client Error: Unprocessable Entity for url: <https://app.pendo.io/api/v1/aggregation>
I really need some inputs on this. I tried with accounts, features, pages, It worked. Incase of visitors its is getting stuck for long time and throwing the above error. How to fix this?

@rameswar_prusty Did tap-pendo work for you before? This looks like a Pendo API issue, so it’d help to know if you never got it working, or if it suddenly broke
Note that either way, our community may not have enough experience with Pendo specifically to help debug this, as it doesn’t seem to be an issue specific to Meltano or Singer

@douwe_maan This is the first time I am using pendo and the api is working in postman.

Something is wrong with the payload being sent https://developers.pendo.io/docs/?bash#status-codes You'll need to either: • debug further to see why the the payload differs in the tap vs you running it in postman • reach out to your pendo rep/raise a ticket

Thanks for the inputs.. I will check this. One more question how/where to find out what payload tap-pendo is sending?
d
I would test the tap outside of meltano. https://github.com/singer-io/tap-pendo#quick-start
To load to json files to verify outputs:
```> tap-pendo --config tap_config.json --catalog catalog.json | target-json > state.json
> tail -1 state.json > state.json.tmp && mv state.json.tmp state.json```
Increase the logging in this area to log the payload: https://github.com/singer-io/tap-pendo/blob/master/tap_pendo/streams.py#L183
