I wanted to raise awareness about this issue in transferwise target-postgres ... the target has always been loading JSON formatted data and I didn't find out about it until now ... https://github.com/transferwise/pipelinewise-target-postgres/pull/132 https://github.com/transferwise/pipelinewise-target-postgres/issues/131 So, in case other people are also still relying on the transferwise target-postgres, this might help (it mainly surfaces for loading string data with control characters, since that's the main difference in the formatting between JSON and CSV)
