<!channel> we’re excited to announce a soft launch of the MeltanoHub! 🎉 Over the previous weeks we’ve talked about a Hub where users would be able to find all available Singer taps/targets and learn more about the Singer ecosystem.
Well today the Hub is officially live at:
hub.meltano.com/ ! 🥳
Some key areas I’d like to draw your attention to:
• We have a dedicated page for
all things Singer. Here you’ll find links to
all taps,
all targets, a
JSON Schema to validate taps/targets, the
simplified Singer Spec,
SDK for Taps, and endpoints for a single JSON object of
all taps and
targets. This is part of our larger commitment to the Singer ecosystem which we discuss on the
main Singer page as well.
• All Meltano discoverable
Extractors and
Loaders live on the hub as well! We aim to remove the links from the main Meltano site and use the MeltanoHub as the single place for all plugins
• This is the
primary repository for the site. It’s a static site that we aim to push as far as we can before creating a more dynamic website.
Today is a soft launch meaning we’re ready to get it out into the world and gather feedback from everyone, but we’ve got
more work we’d like to do before we go big and announce it in on the blog, other Slack communities, HackerNews, Twitter, etc.
I will be demoing the Hub and talking through some more of our plans during
Demo Day (
#C01S996HGFK) today at 1600 UTC, so please join us if you’d like to learn more.
Otherwise, all of the development work and our plans are documented in the
MeltanoHub epic. If you can’t make Demo Day, we’d love your
feedback in issues and in the
#C01UGBSJNG5 channel.
Here’s to making the Singer
singer logo and Meltano
meltano communities as great as they can be! 🚀
