How can I stop a elt run that is running via Airflow in the background?
I am on a Linux Machine so I cannot open the webserver locally
d
I'm not sure, but I'd expect Airflow to have a built-in way to do that. Have you checked its docs/CLI?
g
I have, but without luck. I tried removing the schedule from meltano.yml. I'll keep looking
d
Yeah removing the schedule won't do it; you really want to tell Airflow to kill a running DAG/task/job
p
marking a task as succeeded or failed in Airflow will also stop it
i do that through the UI but not sure if there’s a CLI command as well
t
--mark_success

This came up in another thread recently as well. In that thread, I’d shared this post from stackoverflow. Posting here as well in case it might be helpful.

Amazing! Thanks for the help. I'll try this out. On a separate note, does anyone know how to open the Airflow or Meltano UI on my local machine if I have Meltano/Airflow on a Linux EC2 that only has a CLI
You just need to allow Inbound access to the port you are running the webserver on
