03/30/2021, 6:55 PMYou can leave 3.9 installed system-wide, and then use pyenv to install multiple versions side by side, so that you can use 3.8 with Meltano and 3.9 with anything else: https://github.com/pyenv/pyenv#homebrew-on-macos
