Want to confirm my understanding of how meltano tracks state:

--job_id maintains the state of the pipline independent of the tap and target being used.

For example: •

job_id=job1

← never changes • Initial runs use

tap-mysql

and

target-postgres

• Change to using

tap-mysql

and

target-postgres-inherited

In this case, Meltano should be blind to the fact that I changed the target right? I’m doing some refactoring and my testing seems to support this, but I was hoping for some verification. Thanks!
