I am getting an error when installing an extractor using meltano install. It has something to do with psycopg2 and ssl. The error is huge so I am attaching it. I have tried to use this to solve it to no avail.
brew install openssl
and try again? (https://stackoverflow.com/a/39810509) Stack Overflow pip install psycopg2 broken - warning: unused function 'Dprintf' I can't seem to get pip to install psycopg2 in a latest project virtualenv (on macOS seirra with brew installed python) The error is: creating build/temp.macosx-10.11-x86_64-3.5/psycopg clang...
Using `export LDFLAGS=
echo $(pg_config --ldflags)
pip install psycopg2` seems to have worked. I will update as I work on it more.

@chris_marchetti Glad to hear you got it working! If you don't want to run into this issue every time to try to install the plugins on a system that may not have openssl where
psycopg2
expects it, you could consider having your tap require the pre-built
psycopg2-binary
instead: https://pypi.org/project/psycopg2-binary/

Thanks for that

@chris_marchetti You also appear to be on an old version of Meltano 😉 Not related, but something you may want to fix anyway 🙂
