As I look through the DBT docs on sources, it does seem that there is some leg-work that Meltano could help with: https://docs.getdbt.com/reference/declaring-properties#example Since Meltano has the schema in hand from the Extractor, you could also build out the

columns

list programmatically, for all of the extracted sources. That feels like it could be pretty significant if I want to have sources for each of my 50 DB tables.

@paul_blankley Thanks a lot! I'll have a look and will comment with some thoughts sooner rather than later, but be aware that I'm currently prioritizing the EL experience and documentation, with improving the dbt integration still at least a few weeks out 🙂
