Q2. Is there a command I can run to setup my venv for meltano when I want to setup an example repo with metlano.yml already. I got the error
ELT could not complete, an error happened during the process: Cannot start tap or target: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/Users/nehiljain/snaptravel/universal-elt-pipeline/airflow-elt/.meltano/extractors/tap-github/venv/bin/tap-github': '/Users/nehiljain/snaptravel/universal-elt-pipeline/airflow-elt/.meltano/extractors/tap-github/venv/bin/tap-github'
so I had to run
meltano add extractor bla
and
metlano add loader bla
for all the extractors and loaders in my meltano.yml

@nehil_jain Yes, that’s
meltano install
! As it says on the homepage under https://meltano.com/#the-meltano-project-your-single-source-of-truth:
Whenever you add a new plugin to a Meltano project, it will be installed into your project's
.meltano
directory automatically. However, since this directory is included in your project's
.gitignore
file by default, you'll need to explicitly run
meltano install
before any other meltano commands whenever you clone or pull an existing Meltano project from version control, to install (or update) all plugins specified in
meltano.yml!
