Thanks a ton, @edgar_ramirez_mondragon, for finding and alerting me of a pretty embarrassing bug in
tap-gitlab
, which caused the "Integration" sample code on the homepage to fail with an error. I knew I should've run through the entire sample one more time this morning, but I guess I didn't. I've done exactly that right now, obviously, and am happy to report that: The bug has now been fixed, so the examples on the homepage should work again. If you've already set up a Meltano project with the broken version of
tap-gitlab
, you can run
meltano install
from inside your project to install the latest version of
tap-gitlab
(and any other plugins defined in
meltano.yml
). This does kind of illustrate the problem that the Singer ecosystem currently has with testing, though. Let's fix that together with a testing toolkit for Singer taps and targets! 🙂
