Meltano

I implemented a solution for issue <https://github.com/meltano/meltano/issues/8256>.
I executed tests locally:
```poetry run pytest```
It got stuck forever at 99%. Advice?
My local setup is: Latest Ubuntu, Python 3.10.

I created the following PR and tests seem to be passing:
