Maybe I need to learn the norms of the community? I submitted a simple PR for MeltanoLabs/tap-gitlab about a week ago and would love to see it merged. What’s the process? Do I ping someone in Slack, post to a channel, reference someone in the PR itself, or is there some other step? Thank you!

Hey @francis_potter, posting here is good! The PR notification probably fell through for folks. Note that tap-gitlab has two versions: a legacy one and a newer one built with the singer SDK. Your PR targets the former and that’s the default you get when you install with Meltano, so it’s probably OK. I took a look and the latter doesn’t have the column either, so it might be nice to “forward port” it there.

Ah, I’m learning things! Where do I find the Singer SDK version?

OK, thanks.
@edgar_ramirez_mondragon What does it mean that the
main
branch is “built with the Singer SDK”? I thought all the Meltano plugins are Singer-based.
e
Oh, yeah they're both Singer-based, but the
main
branch uses the more modern Singer SDK library, which gives taps nice features out of the box, like stream map capabilities.
