Hi, I wanted to reply this this comment on GitLab, but the project is now archived. I replied on GitHub, but not sure they are gonna be able to see it. Would it be possible to @ them on GitLab somehow, to let them know I replied?

I don't know if he'll see the comment and I didn't see the user here in slack. Someone could temporarily unarchive the project, post a comment there in GitLab, and then re-archive - but apart from that I'm not sure the best way. 🙂
