I’m trying the tap-zendesk included with the new version of meltano and it’s slooooooooooow. Like it died after 11 hours lifting a few years of data. Anyone run into this?

I’ve run into something similar, and I think it’s driven by the rate limiting in the zendesk API. Some things I adjusted to help included: • Changing the

start_date

so that I wasn’t pulling in lots of historical data I didn’t actually need • Running the tap a few different times with different

--select

settings to avoid having smaller tables getting blocked by super large ones
