Hey everyone, I am running a elt process, meltano first performs the extraction, then loads the data into the target db (schema public) materialising it into a table and then performs the transform and loads the transformed data into a different schema in postgres ("analytics" which I did not create). Any idea on how to load the transformed data straight to the public schema in target without the intermediate data?

That's controlled by dbt. It's set to ``DBT_TARGET_SCHEMA` which is analytics, but you can overwrite that either by setting the env var yourself or going to

profiels.yml

and updating it there.

Would that also stop the intermediate table from being created and saved inti the db?

that wouldn't stop the tables from getting created, you could just set them to go to whichever schema you want
