Hi everyone! I was looking for a definition of MAUI on the docs, but the link is broken. Anyone has any idea about the meaning of the term? (Market Adquisition UI?)

@cesar_garcia MAUI stood for "Monthly Active Users of the User Interface", with the two "U"s collapsed for simplicity 🙂 It's not a metric we track anymore as of last month's pivot though, which is why you wouldn't find it in the docs. Where did you find that broken link?

Ah, right! The handbook (and some other parts of the docs) are not longer up to date / fully accurate as indicated by the banner at the top. I'll get to them at some point 🙂

@taylor It's just me on the team at GitLab for the moment, so I stopped doing them once it became just me talking to a camera and the benefit wasn't so clear anymore compared to just being very active in this Slack workspace and sharing updates through the blog 🙂

@douwe_maan, the potential of this project is huge, I hope it gets some more resources. I found the project about a month ago and just wrapped up watching all the YouTube videos. I hope GitLab’s data team picks it up too!
