Hi folks, I have some availability for the rest of the month to contribute code outside of work. I'm wondering if there is a prioritized backlog of issues I can pick from that would help the meltano community out. Maybe some of the more involved devs know of some important issues that you'd want help on?

I'll refrain myself from influencing you with suggestions other than most upvoted issues (though level of effort and design requirements vary a lot in those 😅), so I'll wait for other folks to weigh in but I gotta say thanks!

A thing that would be helpful and relevant right now for folks is a write upp for how to debug running meltano processes with taps/targets https://meltano.slack.com/archives/C069CQNHDNF/p1726060700288279?thread_ts=1725886099.969549&cid=C069CQNHDNF Specifically if you think something is "hung" what is "hung" (tap/target/meltano?) , and what is the current stack trace for that app. Could be a seperate issue in Meltano honestly, I've just seen this question in the context of Meltano, tap-postgres, and others and have fixed this for people but a guide would be amazing to point people to. If you're looking for something more into Meltano, I'll be selfish and point to https://github.com/meltano/meltano/issues/2511 Currently, we have to do things like https://gitlab.com/autoidm/autoidm-tap-bamboohr#selecting-additional-fields-in-a-custom-report which means we say that fields are not available by default in the tap which isn't a great strategy but it works.
