#9712 feature: Add OpenProject Connector (Tap) to Meltano Hub Issue created by avinashkurup ### Feature scope CLI (options, error messages, logging, etc.) ### Description I would like to request the addition of a connector for OpenProject to the Meltano ecosystem. OpenProject is a leading open-source project management software, and many teams require the ability to extract their project data (tasks, time tracking, budgets, etc.) for downstream analysis. Currently, there is no native OpenProject extractor listed on the Meltano Hub. Users wanting to analyze OpenProject data must currently build custom scripts or use generic HTTP extractors, which lacks the seamless integration and schema management that a dedicated Meltano tap provides. Suggested Implementation OpenProject offers a comprehensive REST API (v3) which supports OAuth2 and API Key authentication. Source: OpenProject API Documentation Key Entities to Extract: Projects Work Packages (Tasks, Milestones, etc.) Time Entries Users Relations Budgets Priority / Use Case This would allow users to join project management data with financial or CRM data in their data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, PostgreSQL) to calculate project ROI and team velocity.
