I thought this messaging was particularly helpful and wanted to share as a potential option for us to do something similar as well. The messaging here is basically a warning in the UI: the plugin has switched maintainers ("variants" in our lingo) with a link to docs on how to migrate to the new maintainer. Click to expand image Context: OctoPrint is a 3D printing platform which has hundreds of open source plugins, running on python. In the same sense that Meltano is the open source DataOps OS, they are the open source 3D printing OS. (They also run on python and have an extensive library of 3rd party open source plugins.)
