#7265 feat: assume state is possible, warn if no capability detected Issue created by visch For a any extractor 1. If there is a capability set but state is not set two things should happen 1. There should be a warning / info log saying that State is off 2. State shouldn't be saved to the meltano db making it more clear that something is turned off

@aaronsteers - ah I see now. @visch mentioned about the meltano.yml file but I thought talking about it in regards to the file in the custom tap folder (not in my meltano project folder).

I've added the capabilities to the

extractor

definition in the

meltano.yaml

in my meltano project and it looks like its working now. Thank you!
