This is all handled at the tap and target level so will work with Meltano. The only core Pipelinewise feature not yet running on Meltano is fastsync, as the pipelinewise orchestrator contains that logic: https://gitlab.com/meltano/meltano/-/issues/2364

That's correct, Meltano only deals with running the tap and target and passing messages between them, it doesn't do anything with the content of those messages (the actual schema and record info).
