@nil What OS are you running on? Symlinks may not be supported by the host filesystem
n
I am running on Ubuntu 20.04 server. Also i run docker in rootless mode do you think that can be a problem?
d
@nil OK, Ubuntu should be fine, I saw similar issues with Windows, but that shouldn't be an issue here. Rootless mode may be an issue, can you see if it works with root?
Either way, I suggest filing an issue in https://gitlab.com/meltano/meltano/-/issues so that we can get to the bottom of this, fix it, or handle the error better.
n
sure i will try it out and get back to you. with the issue i will file once i can add bit more useful info (apart from error message 🙂)
d
Sounds good, thanks!
n
https://gitlab.com/meltano/meltano/-/issues/2373 also i can confirm that it only happens in rootless mode, without rootless it works (I only tested until, init part so far) without any issue.
d
@nil Cool, I'll check out the issue, thanks!
n
Also let me know if i need to any more info there
