It happens when running tap-postgres, when querying a field with a numeric data type

with no precision or scale defined

I got to the bottom of this. The source database is postgres and has a field that is of data type

numeric

without any precision or scale specified. The practice for targets is to validate each field, but without those items specified, there is a divide by null or something happening. So I see this as a problem in the tap
