Hi everyone! Thanks for such a great tool! I love Meltano and can't wait to use it in production once you Google Ads & Shopify taps are ready. What's your ETA for launching those integrations?

Hey @steve! For Shopify, I'm not sure cc @danielle_morrill any thoughts here? As for Google AdWords, it's coming soon 😄 Facebook Ads recently landed in Meltano and Google Ads become the next priority. In fact we talked about it in our demo day on Friday here

@steve In the meantime, what do you like most and least about Meltano?

@derek_knox Definitely a lot more pros compared to cons. Pros: • Easy to use (with Docker it's quick to install/run) • Simple web interface to configure taps • End to end integration (model, ELT, orchestration, etc.) • Free and open source • Transparency of development (blog, recorded meetings) Cons: • Only few taps are currently available without a defined timeline for adding support Advice: • Add poll for community to vote on support of additional taps and targets • Automatic support for any Singer tap (maybe have middleware that connects taps to Meltano)

Thank you for the feedback and ideas! In a way we have polled users in aggregate of our account setup customer interviews. That's what's driven the sequence thus far. Doing so with a public poll is a great idea too however cc @danielle_morrill.

@derek_knox Very nice! I’m happy to become a beta tester for release candidates if available! I think it’s an exciting project and has the potential to be very influential among data-driven apps.

Thanks for the offer. We don't have a formal beta group, but we release every Monday. Depending where you live (release time-wise), checking out that release and providing any feedback would be welcome.

@danielle_morrill Thanks for following up! Shopify has close to 1 million stores on their platform and continue to grow very rapidly. I'm a founder so I fit your target persona and Shopify, along with Google Ads & Facebook Ads, are at the top of my list of desired taps. I'm more than willing to help test beta builds of Meltano.
