Hey Everyone 👋
Big one this time. Every new workspace now comes with Agent Melty, a live knowledge base that gives Claude Code the context to build and troubleshoot pipelines right in your editor. Alongside that: a new Snowflake extractor, a new Nextdoor connector, faster Arrow-based loading for MSSQL, and a batch of reliability fixes.
☁️ Prefer not to manage pipeline maintenance yourself?
Meltano Cloud gives you fully managed connectors and direct access to our team.
🚀*Here's what's new*
✨
Features
•
New Nextdoor connector: Nextdoor Ads Manager is now available as a data source via the new MeltanoLabs tap-nextdoor extractor.
•
Snowflake is now a fully supported Extractor: Most people will be very familiar with our Snowflake loader (target-snowflake), but for those who need to get data
out of Snowflake, we now support a Meltano-managed Snowflake extractor tap-snowflake.
•
Arrow support for MSSQL: target-mssql now supports Arrow, speeding up data loading by an average ~20x (up to 24x for Postgres sources)
•
AI-ready knowledge base in every workspace: New workspaces now provision “Agent Melty” - a live-referenced knowledge base, so Claude has all the context it needs to configure taps and build pipelines using your actual workspace context without leaving your editor.
🐛
Fixes
•
Bumped target-clickhouse to v0.4.1: Fixed a crash when validate_records: false was set, pipelines using that setting now run normally instead of failing on the first record.
•
Bumped tap-hubspot to v0.10.0: Added support for config-driven associations streams, giving you finer control over how HubSpot association data is synced.
•
Bumped tap-spreadsheets-anywhere to v0.6.1: Fixed a logging bug affecting SFTP-sourced streams.
🚀A feature-packed release on both fronts, especially if you work with Claude day to day or lean on MSSQL. Thanks for the reports and nudges, keep them coming!
