Hey Everyone 👋 Lots to unpack this time. A new fully supported Salesforce connector lands with configurable stream-name mapping; Snowflake gets both faster (Arrow extraction) and more flexible (append-only loading); and spreadsheet-based sources join the Arrow speed-up too. We’ve also made it easy to see pipeline stability at a glance. ☁️ Prefer not to manage pipeline maintenance yourself? Meltano Cloud gives you fully managed connectors and direct access to our team. Here's what's 🆕 ✨ Features • Faster spreadsheet ingestion, across the board *E*very spreadsheet-based connector, including tap-spreadsheets-anywhere and its Google Sheets, SharePoint, S3, Azure, GCS, IMAP, Outlook, and SFTP variants, now parses data directly into Arrow tables instead of row by row, cutting extraction time for spreadsheet-based pipelines. • Pipeline stability at a glance We now make it clear which pipelines need your attention with an “Unstable” chip for any that have failed in the previous five runs. We’ve also improved visibility for those with a large number of pipelines - we have filters for Health, Last Run Status, Trigger and Plugin. • New Salesforce connector target-salesforce is now a fully supported destination with configurable stream-name mapping, plus docs covering field mapping, upsert behaviour, and date formatting. • Snowflake gets faster and more flexible tap-snowflake now supports Arrow BATCH mode for faster extraction and target-snowflake now supports the append-only load method. • Arrow support for BigQuery: target-bigquery (v1.1.0) now supports Arrow BATCH messages, speeding up ingestion into BigQuery. 🐛 Fixes • Bumped target-snowflake: Fixed an issue where existing columns with names requiring quoting were incorrectly re-added. • Fixed BigQuery Arrow driver: Resolved a missing driver dependency that was blocking Arrow functionality in target-bigquery. • Bumped tap-aptem to v0.2.0:To support Aptem's new v2 API. 🚀Salesforce, Snowflake, BigQuery and spreadsheet sources all get real upgrades in this one, and Cloud users get a clearer view into pipeline health, a good release to skim even if you only touch one part of the stack. 📚 Curious which setup fits you best? Whether you're leaning Meltano Open or Cloud, our documentation lays out how they stack up against each other. 💬 And if any of these sparked a question (or you've got a connector you're waiting on), grab a slot here, always happy to chat!
